About the Business
Established nearly 30 years ago by Dean Twist, 'The Phone Shop' was launched specifically to service the mobile communications requirements of corporate and SME Clients throughout the Midlands area. Success and rapid growth led to the company being incorporated in 1996 as 'The Phone Shop (Midlands) Ltd.', with Dean as its Managing Director. In 2001 Orange launched its new Business Partner Program and The Phone Shop (Midlands) Ltd. was chosen as a Partner. This was a huge accolade as there were, at that time, only 10 partners in the country.
The company thrived as an Orange Business Partner and its partner status elevated over the years, until in 2010, it was chosen to be part of Orange's prestigious Principal Partner Program, as 1 of only 5 partners in the UK. In October 2012 the EE brand was launched amid a blaze of publicity and positioned itself to provide the new 4G platform to its customers. The Phone Shop (Midlands) Ltd. was chosen as an EE Business Partner serving the business sector.
